These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of "The Forgotten Companion Planting Secrets" (the "eBook"), a digital product sold by Hawthorne Press ("we", "us", "our"). By completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not purchase or use the eBook.
2. The product
The eBook is a digital product delivered as a downloadable PDF file. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use. No physical product will be shipped.
3. Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. The price shown at checkout is in US dollars and is a one-time charge. You are responsible for any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
4. Delivery
After a successful payment, a download of the eBook is sent to the email address you provide at checkout, typically within a few minutes. If you do not receive your copy, check your spam folder and then contact us and we will resend it. It is your responsibility to provide a valid, accessible email address.
5. Refunds
Because the eBook is a digital product delivered immediately, all sales are generally final. However, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of purchase with your receipt and we will issue a full refund. We may decline refund requests we reasonably believe to be abusive or fraudulent.
6. License & intellectual property
Upon purchase, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read and use the eBook for your own use. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, or share the eBook or its contents, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission. All content remains the intellectual property of Hawthorne Press and the author.
7. Disclaimer
The eBook is provided for general informational and educational purposes. Gardening outcomes depend on climate, soil, timing, and many other factors outside our control. We make no guarantee of specific results. The information is not professional agricultural or horticultural advice for your particular circumstances.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hawthorne Press shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of the eBook. Our total liability for any claim relating to the eBook shall not exceed the amount you paid for it.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Continued use of the eBook after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
